John Day's Home Page YSHS Home Page John Day has been teaching history and social studies at Yellow Springs High School since 1993. He teaches World History, U.S. History, and Psychology/Sociology. In addition, Mr. Day is the adviser for School Forest, a burly club which grows Christmas trees and does various outdoor recreation activities.Mr. Day attended Williams College in Massachusetts and has taught in Sapporo, Japan and Washington, D.C., as well as Yellow Springs. He lived for two years in Japan and has spent time in Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and Europe, as well.
